Spring In Niagara: A Look into My life in Niagara
One of the great gifts of my life now is the opportunity to create things like this video I made for my current work with Experience Niagara.
It’s been interesting to watch how quickly I could slot back into the world of making travel content, after 3 years of hardly touching a camera! And 6 years since I had stopped travel filmmaking.
In a matter of some 6 weeks, I went from zero videos to making 5 videos!
It feels like so many pieces of my life are coming together right now.
The Heavenly Minded Earthly Good podcast I made for @tyndaleu made me keep up with my storytelling skills. And majorly pushed what I thought I could create!
My years pre-2017 are why I have such a heart for travel. They’re also why I know how to be a run and gun filmmaker and vlogger and tell stories for companies.
Surprisingly, my masters of divinity is already quietly coming into play as I ponder what kinds of experiences I want to help create with @experienceniagara_.
And there’s the simple fact that I love being outdoors and now living in Niagara wine country is really helpful for work!
What a weird and wonderful way God has of weaving the tapestry of our lives: upbringing, personality, experiences, education, mishaps, inexplicable passions. And most of all: that undeniable feeling when your doing the THING you were born to do.
Where does that feeling come from?! I don’t think I will shoot blossoms and fly drones for my whole life… but maybe I will!?🤷🏻♀️
I do have like 10 blogs that I wrote in March and April reflecting on the ending of my Mdiv, that I hope I can post sometime. However, I am making a lot of content these days, and not sure if that will happen. So, we shall see!
Either way I am super grateful to be back behind a camera and I don’t take a moment of this for granted.
