Today I have something very special to share. I want to give you money to support your creative work. Introducing the Creative Awakening Scholarship, a gift of $1000 to support creatives, innovators, artists and visionaries. This is not a joke! Here's the story:

I’ve have received many scholarships and bursaries in my life. More than the money, what touched me was the gift of knowing that I’m not alone. The scholarships made me feel that 1) somebody believes in me enough to give me a chance and 2) God must be looking out for me. The scholarships gave me hope and faith when I needed it most.

I’ve dreamt of doing this for a long time. Over a year ago, I sensed that I should go public in April 2020. In the midst of current fundraisers for masks and medical equipment (which are all noble endeavours), it may seem odd to do this now, but I trust the timing.

Maybe this is the miracle you've been waiting for.

Why just give money away?

To be honest, I know what it feels like to receive a miracle, and I believe that God wants to do a miracle in your life. My prayer is that this gift will bless you and the world 100x over.

Also, everything I have is God’s anyway. My ability to earn, to give, to create, even the fact that I have fingers that type and a mind that thinks — these are gifts from God.

So it’s my sacred duty and my great honour to invest in the dreams God has put in you.

There are no age or country restrictions.

The $1000 (CAD) Creative Awakening Scholarship will be split between 1 - 5 recipients. The final amount awarded to each person will range between $200 - $1000, depending on how many recipients are chosen.

The deadline to apply is Monday April 20, 2020 at 11:59pm EST. The recipients will be announced on Sunday, April 26 on my Instagram and via email.

My dream is that one day this grows into hundreds of thousands that we can give away each spring to encourage creativity.
